How it Works?
Every panel used in installation is made up of photovoltaic (or PV) cells. When sunlight hits your solar panels, the PV cells produce direct current (or DC) electricity.
On the back of each solar panel is a inverter. The inverter converts DC electricity into alternating current (or AC) electricity, the type of usable electricity needed to power your home.
Usable electricity flows from the panels upto Net Meter through inverter, cables etc. The Net Meter is just like a standard utility meter which measures the electricity you’re drawing from the grid and also electricity your solar panels are producing and sending into the grid.
After flowing through the net meter, electricity is distributed into grid in case of On Grid Roof Top System.
In case of Off Grid Roof Top System, solar energy in used to lighten our home to power things like refrigerator, air conditioner and other appliances.
